After a while of vending at card shows, we noticed something. Between sports cards and the other TCGs, there wasn’t ever really a big enough focus on Pokémon cards. With Pokémon being the largest media franchise in the world, this surprised us a lot.
It was from this realization during March of 2024 that PokéCon MA: The Massachusetts Pokémon Card Show, was born.
PokéCon puts the spotlight on Pokémon, its TCG and other forms of media by being a mostly exclusive Pokémon show. This creates an environment where Pokémon enthusiasts of all ages and fashions can come together, embrace the hobby, and embrace each other. THIS is PokéCon MA’s mission!

What will I find at PokéCon?: At PokéCon, the majority of our vendors carry a wide variety of raw Pokemon cards, Pokemon Card sealed product (packs, boxes, etc) and professionally graded cards. You can also find custom Pokémon based art and apparel.
Show Location: PokéCon is hosted in Wakefield, Massachusetts. We are hosted at the Civic Center on 467 Main St during the Summer and Fall, and Wakefield Memorial High School on 60 Farm St. during the Winter and Spring. January, February and March shows will be at the high school!
Parking:
WMHS. WMHS shares a large lot with the middle school next door. There is also nearly a mile of street parking in several directions from the venue.
Civic Center: There is plenty of street parking as well as a HUGE lot next door at the Galvin middle school. All Free!
Entry: $5 entry for adults, $3 kids, $15 for any group of 4 or more. Purchase of tickets at door the day of the event via cash or venmo. Digital pre-orders not currently offered.
